Arrived in Los Angeles yesterday morning after five days of cross-country driving (and several stops along the way). As of May 5 I am officially an alumna of the University of Florida, holding both a B.S. in journalism and a B.A. in English. After quite a bit of downsizing, I packed my life essentials into my two-door car and drove the twenty-five hundred miles from Florida to Los Angeles. Life has been, as one might imagine, just a little hectic lately and I have quite a few updates to make to the site (magazine layouts from Orange & Blue in particular) that ought to be up once I get a little more settled. Best of luck to my fellow '07 graduates.

Added my final web design project to the site under both "design" and "clips." The site was created as a final project for David Carlson's Communication on the Internet course and I invite you all to check it out. I also added a few more posters I did for the Harn and a .pdf of my resume. More magazine spreads are also on their way as the Orange & Blue art staff and I are busily finishing up our magazine. Check back soon!

Flew out of Los Angeles again this morning. Once again rose up and over another coast than my own. Hard to believe the next time I see that shore it will be as a resident.
Fifty-six days until we'll start the trek across. Lots to finish and tie up here on the East Coast until then. Later this week I'll be adding my rough draft of a story for Orange & Blue, a University of Florida student magazine as well as a handful of press releases I've done for the Harn Museum of Art.

After two weeks of hand-coding and preparation, the site is ready to launch! I leave for L.A. tomorrow, but additional changes, clips and design work should be posted once I am back.
